Our Story
Look Interiors is a small family soft furnishings business owned and run by Elaine and Malcolm Murray for over 15 years. Between them, they have many years of design and making experience.
Elaine studied at The Scottish College of Textiles and went on to a career in the fashion and clothing Industries in both London and Glasgow. Malcolm worked in the theatre industry starting in Eden Court Inverness in 1978. He studied Theatre & TV Design and Crafts at West Sussex College of Design and established himself as a Theatrical designer, propmaker, scenic artist and scenic carpenter working mainly in the Central belt of Scotland.
The couple married in 1991 and returned to their home city of Inverness in 1996 to bring up a young family. They have three sons and a daughter.
With work in their respective industries being difficult to find in the Highlands and not fitting in with family life they turned to alternative employment and eventually decided to utilise their skills, establishing Look Blinds & Curtains which became Look Interiors.
Look Interiors has been providing soft furnishings and window dressings, helping to enhance and transform homes, hotels and businesses across the Highlands for over 15 years. Their ethos has always been very much to provide a local, friendly, accessible, hands-on service with a high-quality product and personal attention to detail and the customer. Being local they will always be easy to contact and pride themselves on a second to none back up service and attitude. Look Interiors are grateful to the many cherished repeat customers they have had and look forward to many more new friends.
